Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 June 2026  ·  Effective: 15 June 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vidyana.org and its related services, operated by Vidyana Edu Pvt. Ltd. ("Vidyana", "we", "us"). By accessing our platform or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using Vidyana's services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

Vidyana's services are intended for students of all ages preparing for school exams, competitive exams or skill development. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian awareness of their enrollment and use of the platform, particularly regarding payments.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@vidyana.org if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • One account is intended for one individual user. Sharing login credentials to allow multiple people to access a single paid course is not permitted.

4. Courses and enrollment

Upon successful payment, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access the course content for the duration specified at the time of purchase (e.g. 12 months for annual courses, lifetime access for one-time purchase courses, as stated on the course page).

  • Live class schedules, faculty and content may be updated by Vidyana to improve course quality. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students.
  • Live classes are delivered via Zoom. Links are sent to your registered email and WhatsApp number before each session. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a Zoom-compatible device.
  • Missed live classes are made available as recordings within 24 hours, where applicable.

5. Payment terms

  • All payments are processed through our payment partner (Razorpay) in Indian Rupees (₹).
  • Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscription-based courses (e.g. annual plans) may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date; you will be notified in advance.
  • Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

6. Code of conduct

While using Vidyana, you agree not to:

  • Share, record, redistribute or resell course content without written permission
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse or disrupt other students or instructors during live classes or in community spaces
  • Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorisation
  • Submit false information when applying for internships or employer listings

Violation of this code of conduct may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

7. Intellectual property

All course content, including videos, notes, mock tests, branding and platform design, is the intellectual property of Vidyana or its licensed content partners. You may not copy, distribute, publicly perform or create derivative works from this content without our express written consent.

8. Certificates

Certificates issued by Vidyana confirm completion of a specific course on our platform. Unless explicitly stated on the course page, certificates are self-issued by Vidyana and are not accredited by an external university or government body. Certificates are intended to demonstrate skill and course completion to potential employers and for internship applications through our portal.

9. Internships and employers

Vidyana facilitates connections between students and employer partners through our Internship Portal. We do not guarantee internship placement, employment outcomes, or the conduct of third-party employers. Vidyana is not a party to any internship or employment agreement formed between a student and an employer. Students apply at their own discretion, and we encourage verifying employer details independently before accepting any offer.

10. Limitation of liability

Vidyana provides its services on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or specific exam or career outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidyana shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using our services at any time; however, this does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Vidyana shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Contact us

For questions about these Terms, contact us at legal@vidyana.org or through our contact form.
